Die Produktion des exklusiven Buches PEOPLE MALLORCA zeigt ein völlig anderes Bild der Gesellschaft auf Mallorca. Eine Welt voller großartiger, enthusiastischer Menschen, die meist eher zurückhaltend sind in der Öffentlichkeit, die in diesem Buch jedoch einen Einblick geben - in ihr Leben, ihre Passionen und ihre Lebensphilosophien.

Das Projekt entstand durch eine langjährige Freundschaft mit Baronin Carlota von Münchhausen. Dieser unglaublich faszinierende Charakter, edel und weltoffen, herzlich und mit viel Leidenschaft und Mitgefühl, hat eine solch interessante Lebensgeschichte, die festgehalten werden musste. Carlota hat mir ihre Gedanken und Gefühle mitgeteilt, die Geschichte ihrer Ankunft auf Mallorca, ihr neues Leben hier auf der Insel. Ich habe verstanden, wie besonders Mallorca und seine Bewohner sind, Menschen die aus aller Herren Länder stammen. Die von dieser Insel magisch angezogen werden und die hier ihren Lebenstraum verwirklichen. Diese internationalen Charaktere wollte ich portraitieren, und PEOPLE MALLORCA ist das Resultat. Diese paradiesische Natur,  die Geschichte dieser Insel, ihre Anziehungskraft und Einzigartigkeit auf der Welt wurden lange Zeit unterschätzt. Mallorca ist eben nicht nur eine Spaß-Insel, Mallorca ist viel mehr. Einen kleinen Einblick in „das andere Mallorca“, abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade, bietet dieses Gesellschaftsbuch.

This is the making of the unique and exclusive book project PEOPLE MALLORCA. Produced and written by Renate Pentzien this book will show a different face of the society of the Balearic island Mallorca. Dip into the world of fantastic, enthusiastic people who generally show a low profile but will give an insight of their lives, passions and philosophies.

The whole project started off while talking to our our dear neighbour, Carlota Baroness von Münchhausen. This incredibly strong character, noble, open minded and open hearted, with passion and compassion, coming a long way before arriving here, shared her thoughts and feelings with me and I understood how special and unique Mallorca is, just as well as its inhabitants, natives and from all nations. From all over the world people are attracted to this island, and these interesting characters are definitely worthwhile portraying. I feel privileged to  do this, to learn from people, their experiences, their philosophies and from this unique nature. I truly admire all of it and felt the necessity to save these impressions - in words and pictures. In honor to Mallorca´s beauty, it´s history, it´s attraction and it´s uniqueness that has - for my understanding - been underestimated for a long time - I would like to show a selection of PEOPLE MALLORCA, Edition No. 1, as there will be more to come. Thanks to all contributors for their inspiration and their passion - and every character in this book has not only a passion but also what goes with it: compassion. It´s not about people who do everything right, as such thing doesn´t exist. Also, being a journalist, I needed to braek a rule: Only bad news is good news. Here you go: Now good news are good news.
